Who...What??? Ghetto Cientiphic???

[GEE CEE: TEAM 4 C.R.E.A.M.]

GhettoCientiphic is more than a rap/hip hop group, it’s a
movement. Gee Cee, as they are known throughout the
underground, have enjoyed limited notoriety due to mixtapes
and “word of mouth”. Da Cientist (Jamal a.k.a. M.B.M.) is
the emcee who illuminates words to paint vivid mental flix as he
spits da “Holy Smoke Gospel” backed up on the wheels
of steel by “Da 720 Soul” DJ Swift. “Gee Cee is a family”, says
Jamal a.k.a. Da Cientist, “we got a history and strong
roots in this vibration—it’s grown folks music ‘cause we grew up
with it!”

Ghetto Cientiphic, the name itself conjures the curiosity and
stirs the psyche. “Ghetto Cientiphic symbolizes an attitude of
survival and experimentation”, beams Da Cientist. “Me and Swift
study music and the science of life, so we apply the
science and the sound is just ghetto—that’s us! Gee Cee
blends head-noddin’ beats with powerful vocal presence that
embodies the essence of street music.

“We’ve done mad travellin’ physically and mentally…the world is
a ghetto wherever you go—ya gotta be on be on point*.

The organization has taken many forms since it’s genesis in
1992. Lord Yatta, one of the founding members is a graphic
artist who runs a tattoo parlor in Atlanta. Georgia, left an
indelible influence on the themes & concepts that the group
espouses. It all began with Jamal freestylin’ on “basement
tapes”, then Yatta designed the logo that encompassed the
essence of the paradoxical name GhettoCientiphic—“abstractly
concrete”. Then it was official, GC was born!

Many hip hop affiliates have graced the GC roster through the
years like Karende Jah King Allah (D.C.) who rocked it with
The Beggaz on the Wu-Tang Killa Beez “Swarm” album once
repped the GEE CEE flag. During that same 1992-93 period
Mr. Short Khop (LA/Inglewood) was the GhettoCientiphic
weapon of mass destruction before hookin’ up with Ice Cube for
“Loved Ones” & “Pushin’ Weight” and a subsequent solo
release on TVT Records.

So here we are today, GhettoCientiphic is still the champion of
underground music with an eye on the Biz. It’s time to go
worldwide! Check out the “S.U.P.R.E.M.A.C.Y.” disc and the
brand new “1246 Mixtape” by the GC Team 4 Cream.
